We are a group of professional pigment and colour chemists. We’ve been working hard since 2014 to research and develop our formula for the highest quality gel polishes. We can now offer our unique, high-concentration colour gels that give incredible shine and long-lasting wear with an average of only 2 coats per application – and our gels cure faster than others on the market. Our gels are free of solvents or heavy metals.

Our founder, Nick Huang, is an expert in chemical engineering who is also passionate about chemistry. He started his business in 1995 as a small company specializing in UV coating material for laptops, desktops and mobile phone casings. He developed his own unique formula which resulted in an ultra-glossy, scratch-resistant, non-toxic coating that quickly gained the trust and acceptance of clients including Foxconn, Sony, Acer and Asus.

By 2009, Nick’s company had achieved the status of Certified Green Partner for Sony. This is a very high level of recognition showing that Nick’s products are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Committed and motivated to innovate, in 2014 Nick established a new R&D team to concentrate on developing an LED gel polish. He set himself a difficult goal: to reformulate the old methods of producing gel nail polish by removing the solvent and heavy metals in LED gels – yet also to create a polish that is longer-lasting and has highly concentrated colour pigments, reducing the number of coats needed. His success opened the way to the forefront of the industry.

2014 also saw the birth of Châtelet, a line of gel polishes successfully launched in Taiwan, Nick’s home country. Popularity grew swiftly and today Châtelet polishes are loved by professional nail salons, nail artists and at-home users throughout Asia.
